By enabling tips and monetization features on playthis ("Platform"), you ("DJ", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these DJ Monetization Terms ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not enable monetization features on the Platform.
playthis operates as a payment collection and distribution service. We:
3.1 Platform Fee: We retain 10% of all tips received. This fee covers payment processing costs, platform maintenance, technical support, and operational expenses.
3.2 DJ Earnings: You will receive 90% of all tips collected on your behalf.
3.3 Payout Schedule: Payouts are processed monthly, typically within the first 10 business days of each month, for earnings from the previous month.
3.4 Minimum Payout: A minimum balance of €50 is required to process a payout. Balances below this threshold will roll over to the following month.
3.5 Payout Methods: We support payouts via Revolut, bank transfer (SEPA/SWIFT), PayPal, and other methods as available. You are responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider.
3.6 Currency: All transactions are processed in EUR (Euros). Currency conversion fees, if applicable, are your responsibility.
You agree to:
5.1 Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for determining and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings, including but not limited to income tax, VAT, sales tax, and any other taxes in your jurisdiction.
5.2 Tax Reporting: playthis is not responsible for withholding taxes or providing tax advice. You may need to report your earnings to tax authorities in your country.
5.3 Tax Documentation: We may provide you with annual earning summaries upon request, but you are responsible for maintaining your own tax records.
5.4 International Compliance: If you are located outside Croatia/EU, you are responsible for understanding and complying with your local tax laws regarding foreign income.
We reserve the right to request identity verification documents at any time to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. This may include government-issued ID, proof of address, or tax identification numbers. Failure to provide requested documentation may result in suspension of payouts.
You may not:
8.1 Chargeback Risk: If a tip is disputed or charged back by the tipper's bank, the amount will be deducted from your future earnings.
8.2 Chargeback Fees: Any fees associated with chargebacks will be deducted from your earnings.
8.3 Excessive Chargebacks: If your account experiences excessive chargebacks (>2% of transactions), we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your monetization privileges.
9.1 Our Rights: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your monetization features at any time if we suspect fraud, violation of these Terms, or illegal activity.
9.2 Your Rights: You may disable monetization features at any time. Any pending earnings will be paid out according to our normal schedule.
9.3 Pending Payouts: In case of termination, any verified earnings above the minimum threshold will be paid out within 30 days, subject to our investigation of potential violations.
Your personal information and payout details are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your financial information. Your payout information is never shared with third parties except as necessary to process payments.
11.1 Service Availability: While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for lost earnings due to technical issues.
11.2 Payment Processing: We are not liable for delays or failures in payment processing caused by third-party payment providers, banks, or factors beyond our control.
11.3 Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of your unpaid earnings at the time of the claim.
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee of playthis. This agreement does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of monetization features after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Zagreb, Croatia.
